Willamena is a perfectly middle aged chunky black and white girl. She came to us from a hoarding operation on the Reservation where her previous owner had died. Unfortunately, no one knew that her owner had died for a while... so the cats in the house were left to fend for themselves. As one can imagine, that will take an emotional toll on any animal that survives. Willamena was very shy when she came to us initially but has now decided she quite likes humans. She has certainly packed on her winter weight (And then some..) and doesn't shy away from carbs. She does great with other older cats but has no tolerance for the young whippersnappers that get too into her face.Adoption processAdoptions can be completed at our Fort Lupton Shelter or at one of our many adoption events that are held every Saturday around the Denver metro area. We are open Monday - Sunday 10am -5pm, no appointment necessary. 2) Weekend adoption events every Saturday.
