Meet Vader! Vader is about 15 weeks old. He is small for his age, but is a tough guy! He is vocal and love to talk! He is typical kitten and loves to play hard and sleep hard! If you would like to make Vader a part of your family, fill out an application at www.barktownrescue.org VADER'S ADOPTIOM FEE IS $100The shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the dog's predominant breed or breed mix. We strongly encourage you to select your new pet by looking at each dog's individual personality and pet qualities rather than relying on a breed label that is only our best guess. Our adoption fees vary from $150 and up. All of our dogs are up to date on vaccines, heart worm preventives, and flea/tick medication, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Portions of your adoption fee also help care for the sick and injured animals that we take in. Thank you for supporting us and considering a rescue dog! Once this is approved, we can set the applicant up with the foster to meet the dog. If the person decides to adopt at that point, we do have a contract that needs to be signed. ** Please note, it may take 2-3 business days for your application to be processed. Please let us know if you do not hear from us after that time period.Shelter locationOnce an application is completed and approved, we can set up a meeting.
