Meet Theseus! This little hero braved the mean streets for several years after likely being abandoned at a cat colony. He was fortunate to be scooped up and saved when his rescuer saw he was not a feral cat. He is so affectionate and so grateful to be rescued and indoors. He makes biscuits just by you talking to him and is so eager for love! He may get along with female cats but not a fan of male cats, he would also be happy to have his person all to himself. Theseus was born around 03/08/2019.Adoption processOnce you've filled out an application, we will contact your references and put you in touch with the foster/caregiver of the cat. Once your application is approved, we schedule you to attend an online group seminar on cat care. Then you would sign the adoption papers, pay the adoption fee, and make arrangements for the cat to be moved to your home. We always do a home visit which is both reassuring to the cat when it is being introduced and to the foster who has taken care of the cat. Presently we are doing home visits with FaceTime or Zoom to confirm you have secure windows, no toxic plants and a generally safe environment for a cat. The adoption fee is $150 for one cat under 7 years old, $75 for one cat 7 years and older. All cats have been tested for the Feline Leukemia and FIV virus, vaccinated (FVRCP and Rabies vaccines), microchipped, dewormed and spayed/neutered.
