Approx DOB: January 2020 Teddy (ID#23115) is a very special boy who wandered into a locally managed colony of cats. He has the kindest eyes and the gentlest soul to go along with them. Very shortly after coming into foster care in January, Teddy had a full urinary blockage. He was taken to the ER and three short days later Teddy had a Perineal Urethropexy surgery and cystotomy in Hershey. Since day 1, Teddy has been the most wonderfully sweet and loving soul. He was the very best patient recovering from his horrible ordeal and is now ready to begin his search for his perfect someone. Teddy absolutely adores the other cats in his home, but he is a sensitive guy and will not stand up for himself if bullied, which means he needs another sweet and friendly feline to befriend that will never be mean to him. Teddy also did well with the laid-back dog around the home he showed up at and would do fine if there was a dog like that in his new home as well. He may like it best in a home without young children. He is a very laid back and friendly guy with everyone, but has been through a lot and really just seems to want a home much like himself, laid back. Teddy likes to snuggle on his foster mom’s chest to watch TV and as soon as he sees an opening without the other fosters hogging her, he is in her lap. He would love a human that likes to do the same and would even let him sleep with them. But don't let that fool you, he also loves to play. He enjoys cat wands, catnip toys, watching birds out the window, and catify on youtube. Teddy is on a special diet of Royal Canin SO because of his past urinary issues, but he is very used to eating his meals separately from the other cats in his home, and takes it all in stride. At some point in his life, he had chronic ear infections which caused hematomas to form and burst, which is why his ears look the way they do. His foster momma thinks it makes him even cuter although it makes her sad to know the pain he has endured in his short life. He is just the best and he deserves nothing less. All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax).
