Tater is a beautiful, friendly, tabby girl who has gorgeous tabby markings and soulful eyes. She was adopted from the rescue in January of 2020 as a kitten and returned recently due to a new baby being allergic. Tater is a very sweet kitty who is on the shy side until she feels comfortable. Once adjusted, let the petting begin! She enjoys being petted and does not mind being held for short periods of time. She gets along with the other cats in her foster home, but is intimidated by cats that have dominate personalities. Her foster mom knows once she gets her own home again, her true personality will shine. Her ideal home would be on the quieter side with no young children. Older, respectful children should be fine. Tater is almost 3 years old ( as of 7/ 2022), spayed, up to date on vaccinations and negative for FIV and FeLV.Adoption processTo begin the adoption process, you must fill out an application. You must be 21 years old to be considered for adoption. We require personal references including a vet and /or landlord (if applicable). If you have not adopted through us previously, we may require a home visit prior to adoption. All adopted cats must be kept indoors and up to date with vet care, including yearly wellness exams. Your adoption donation allows us to provide the following vet care for each of our fosters.*Spay or Neuter*Rabies Vaccination*Distemper Combo vaccinations*Feline Leukemia/FIV testing*Worming medications*Flea TreatmentsAny medical issue that arises in our care is addressed prior to adoption. Upon adoption, you receive a copy of medical records which will cover all care provided by our vets. Declawing is not permitted. A wellness visit must be scheduled with your vet within 2 weeks after adoption.Shelter locationFor approved applications, if an adoption day event is not available, we are making other arrangements for meeting our foster cats.
