Meet our greeter and resident guard cat Sweet Tea. She's not a fan of other cats so she likes to spend a little time on her leash everyday. She has a bed outside in front of the shelter where she can oversee her parking lot. She keeps the lizards out of the area and talks to anyone who pulls up to visit the cats. She really likes when people send a few treats her way. When she’s inside, her growls can seem a little intimidating until you realize she growling at the other cats. Sweet Tea loves people but just doesn’t want the other cats in her personal space. Needless to say she would prefer to be an only cat. She’s about 7 years old and very outgoing. If you’d like to adopt this spunky girl, call Helping Paws Animal Sanctuary at 239-283-XXXX. If you’d just like to say hi, drop by the shelter sometime.
