Sven is a very handsome and friendly Siamese flame point male approximately 9 years old. He befriends anyone who says hi to him with a meow and head bump. During his medical evaluation he tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). He is otherwise healthy and happy. FIV means that his immune system is deficient but in general cats with FIV can lead healthy lives and have normal life expediencies. FIV is not contagious to people or dogs but can be transferred among cats. Therefore we are seeking a special adopter who will promise to keep Sven as an indoor cat only and who has no other cats or has other FIV positive cats. Sven is current on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped and ready for a home to call his own.If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sven, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
