Fall in love with Sebastian! This sweetheart is an affectionate, undemanding companion and enjoys laptime with people he trusts. Chin scratches are his favorite! He likes hanging out on windowsills and playing with wand toys, in part because it requires you to play with him. Sebastian can be easily bullied and prefers to be your only kitty. He thrives around gentle adults in a calm environment. This handsome tux likes sleeping with his humans so no closed doors please. Born around June 2017, Sebastian was surrendered by his owner and has been looking for a do-over ever since. Give this amazing kitty a second chance at happiness!Adoption processOnce you've filled out an application, we will contact your references and put you in touch with the foster/caregiver of the cat. Once your application is approved, we schedule you to attend an online group seminar on cat care. Then you would sign the adoption papers, pay the adoption fee, and make arrangements for the cat to be moved to your home. We always do a home visit which is both reassuring to the cat when it is being introduced and to the foster who has taken care of the cat. Presently we are doing home visits with FaceTime or Zoom to confirm you have secure windows, no toxic plants and a generally safe environment for a cat. The adoption fee is $150 for one cat under 7 years old, $75 for one cat 7 years and older. All cats have been tested for the Feline Leukemia and FIV virus, vaccinated (FVRCP and Rabies vaccines), microchipped, dewormed and spayed/neutered.
