Sassafras is a plump boy brimming with love. He will make intense loving eye contact and slow blink at whoever is around. He will rub against legs and flop down for belly rubs. On his transport to CO, his transporter stopped overnight and Sassafras would not leave him alone until he was allowed to cuddle with him. He's absolutely someone's best friend waiting to happen. He is doing well with the other female cat in the foster home but it has taken him some time to warm up to the male cat in the home. He has such a relaxed personality, that he would likely do fine with kids and/or dogs. Sassafras has spent his entire life in the IL shelter. He deserves a family and a home of his own! We have learned that Sassafras prefers female cats to male cats. He will need to be the only male cat in a householdAdoption processAdoptions can be completed at our Fort Lupton Shelter or at one of our many adoption events that are held every Saturday around the Denver metro area.
