Rebel is a beautiful cat- white with patches of brown tabby. She is very sweet and loves to be pet but isn't fond of being picked up and held. Rebel knows her name, and if she isn't fast asleep, will give a chirp or come running when she hears it! She does get nervous during storms and has a spot in one of the hallways she stays tucked in during them. She also loves playing with her toys, especially anything on a string or with feathers. She'd make a wonderful addition to any loving home. Rebel would do best with more docile and calm cats. Rebel has been diagnosed with asthma. She takes a puff of her inhaler twice daily and does very well with it! She will need a family willing to continue this treatment.Adoption processPlease be sure to review the shelters Adoption Process prior to considering our facility for your adoption journey.Shelter locationWCHS is conducting the viewing of our animals by appointment only. The Kennel Adoption Application and Cat Room Questionnaire can be found on our website under the ADOPT tab, then click Adoption Process. Please be sure to review our processes closely before filling out either form.Once the forms are submitted, management will receive and review them within 24-48 hours. Please understand that our facility is receiving a high volume of request and are doing our best to accommodate as many as possible. Management may not contact you for 3-5 days. You will either be contacted via phone, or email with the findings of our inquiry and/or to schedule your one-on-one viewing appointment with staff.Please understand that our facility takes the health and safety of its staff and surrounding community very seriously. With that being said, entry to our building is only granted to those who have been pre-approved and have been given a viewing appointment. Walk-in viewing IS NOT an option.
