This sweet little boy was homeless with part of his lip pulled away from his mouth. A very kind soul rescued him and provided the medical attention he needed. Our sweet Putter looks like he always has a smile due to part of the lip was pulled away. This little boy loves people, cats, toys and even dogs. He follows the volunteers around "helping" to clean litter boxes. Come meet Putter and fall in love ~ he will "smile" at you.To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Due to the high volume of applications received, our Adoption Coordinator will only contact the applicant that best meets the needs of the pet.Adoption processTour/Adoption Hours: Fridays: 3pm – 5pmSaturdays: 11am – 2pm During adoption hours we have volunteers available to show dogs and cats to the public. For safety/insurance reasons we can only allow those 12 years or older to go into the dog kennel wing of the shelter. We ask all visitors not to stick their fingers/hands into the dog kennels. Our adoptable dogs and cats are viewable through our website. Everyone interested in applying for a dog or cat must submit an application through our website. We receive multiple applications for each animal. Applications for particular animals are based on best fit for each animal based on each animal’s behaviors and needs. An application not being selected for a particular animal does not necessarily mean the application was denied, but just that another application was approved.
