2 yr old female - special needs - must be an only catMeet Puma! This adorable girl is a little timid when you first meet her, but once she warms up she is super sweet, and very playful. Se is 2 years old. She is special need and needs to be an only cat or in a household with other Feline Coronoa virus positive cats. She tested positive for Feline Coronavirus (the testing that was done to identify this virus is specific to feline enteric coronavirus and does not detect SARS-CoV-2, the causative agent for COVID-19. Feline enteric coronavirus is species-specific and does not infect humans) Although she tested positive at her re-check appointment, the virus should not affect her longevity or quality of life (she is no longer experiencing any clinical signs), however it is recommended that she go to a home with no other cats, with no intention of getting more cats in the home. Coronavirus is mostly common as a kitten virus, and according to the vet most kittens by 9 months - 1 year test negative. However, for some reason Puma has not out grown it. We just had her test in July 2022 and she is still positive. We have not seen her around dogs or kids so unsure how she would do with those. This animal is current on all age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, and spayed/neutered. They have been FIV/LeLV tested (negative), microchipped, and on flea prevention. Once approved to adopt we will set up a meet and greet, so any current household animals, family (kids) can all meet with the new foster animal. Dog fees range from $200.00 - $400.00We also have kittens and their fee is $120.00 We do require all adopters to sign a contract and sign our medical documentation sheet.
