Puffy is a gentle soul who was likely abandoned several years ago at the apartment complex where he was being fed along with 3-4 other cats. Puffy is a friendly guy who loves lots and lots of head and neck scratches ! He will show you his appreciation by rubbing his head on you and rubbing against your legs. He is also the perfect lap cat! Puffy does like to occasionally play with a string if you engage him. Puffy’s ideal day is limitless Sheba wet food and a comfy spot to sleep or lay in the sun. Puffy is a very low maintenance kitty. He would be the perfect companion for someone who works long hours. If you would like to open your heart to a kind, gentle, adult please give Puffy a chance at a forever home.Adoption processDuring review of the application if you rent your home, we confirm with your landlord that you are allowed to have the cat per your lease. We also consider if a particular cat is a good fit for your home. Certain cats will do better in homes without small children, or without other cats. Other cats may need to be adopted with a cat that they are bonded with. So we make sure that the cat and the home are a good match before completing an adoption. Some of our fosters allow trial adoptions, where you would have 2-3 weeks to make sure that the cat being adopted was accepted by the other pets in your home. If you are interested in this, please ask your Adoption Representative. All cats adopted from Stray Cat Blues have been screened for feline leukemia and FIV, inoculated, sterilized and wormed when they first come to us. Additional vet work is completed for those cats that require additional care. Healthy, adoptable cats and kittens are then housed through our network of foster homes until they are adopted. You are also welcome to come visit cats at our PetSmart Collegeville and PetSmart North Wales/Montgomeryville locations (see times for adoption showings).
