Meet Oreo, a sweet and affectionate boy. When you walk through the door, this guy runs to you and greets you by rolling over to get a belly rub. He loves human interaction and loves to follow his foster humans around. He will win your heart almost instantly. Oreo would thrive in any kind of household that will give him attention. He hasn't been around children and would be considered more independent. But he could most definitely be in a household with older and more respectful children. He would do well as a single cat. Oreo doesn’t play much, although he again, loves attention and is always up for a cuddle as well as a pet. A funny quirk is that Oreo loves to lie down on the bar top at home, giving the appearance that he has had one too many. If you are looking for an affectionate cat who will steal your heart. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here: http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.
