Meet this charming fella named Opie/Boo! Check out his amazing green eyes. He was adopted as a baby and now back for the third time (November 2020) since April 4, 2018 when his owner became allergic to him and could no longer keep him. Very sad for them and sweet Opie! He is now 7 years 2 months old, up to date on shots, house broken (litter box trained), neutered, and so ready to be back in a loving FOREVER home. He is a BIG boy around 18 pounds and loves soaking up all of the love and body rubs one has to share with him but on his terms. His sweetness will shine once he settles in and knows he is safe and happy. He needs a home without dogs and can be selective with his feline friends. Can be a little quirky in his own way and will come to you for attention. Other then that he enjoys laying around and watching life happen around him. He loves treats too. Maybe you have the perfect home for sweet Opie?! Stop by the shelter for a visit with him today and adopt him into your family!! We have SO MANY cats & kittens arriving daily that it is hard to keep Adopt a Pet as up-to-date as we would like. So PLEASE COME TO THE SHELTER and meet some of the wonderful cats that are up for adoption and open up your home to 1 or more kitties today! Can't adopt today? We'd love some toys, litter, or food (especially kitten food) would be good too. Maybe you will have some time for snuggle and love on us while you're here. It makes the cats time here more enjoyable to get love & attention. We need volunteers & foster homes! If you adopt a cat that is not already spayed or neutered you will receive a voucher to help cover the cost of the surgery (some vets honor the voucher 100%)...such a great deal while saving a life!!
