Meet ONYX an adorable mini panther gal who was born in foster on February 10th. Onyx is a sweet, playful, and fun-loving kitten who enjoys toys and attention from people. Opal’s mom is FIV positive, so Onyx did test positive as well at her vet visit. FIV positive kittens can carry their mom’s antibodies and test positive for up to 6 months and usually do eventually test negative. Current research says that FIV positive cats can live with FIV negative cats but either way the hope and expectation is that Onyx tests negative when she is a bit older. In the meantime, she is more than ready for a forever home with another cat to play with or can be a solo kitten if you have lots of time to play and interact with her. Make this cutie pie yours!
