Octavia is a beautiful female kitten who was born in our shelter when her mother (Angelica) gave birth to five kittens on June 30, 2019. Octavia has one sister (Raven) and three brothers (Edgar, Allan, and Poe).Beautiful momma Angelica (who is a dilute tortoiseshell kitty) was a loving mother to her precious babies and raised five happy youngsters under less-than-ideal conditions (i.e., a small shelter cage). Angelica was separated from her kittens in early October after they were fully weaned, and she was spayed on October 7, 2019.Octavia has a gray short smooth coat with white markings on her chest and paws, a long tail, and an adorable face with golden eyes, a black heart-shaped mark on the end of her nose, and long white whiskers. Octavia has the appearance of wearing gray leg warmers on her front legs which makes her even more adorable. She has a sweet, playful personality and loves her sister (Raven) with whom she is sharing a cage.Octavia's mother (Angelica) was combo tested on June 4, 2019 and is negative for feline leukemia and FIV ..which is also great news for Octavia and her other siblings.Octavia will be spayed in the near future (tentatively on November 4, 2019) and will be available for adoption at that time. Naturally we'd love to see her find a home with one of her siblings. Octavia is also available for rescue.Rescue groups may contact our Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (XXXX@suddenlink.net).
