Modela mama had a litter of 4 kittens born (or possibly dumped) outside in a Modelo box. She was very unsure of humans but was kind enough to let her foster mama intervene to help take care of her sick babies. One by one they passed away except Dos Equis, who joined his lion friends when he got big and strong enough! Modela is still very shy but she accepts pets from humans when other friendly cats are close by and show her that most people are good and kind. She will need plenty of time to do her own thing before she trusts anyone, but deserves a calm, loving and patient forever home of her own.Adoption processVisitors with an APPROVED application to adopt do not need to pay the entry fee to visit the cafe.Shelter locationAll of our adoptable rescue cats are living at the cat cafe, at 4221 S Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49008.
