Mocha is a gentle girl who is a total sucker for treats. This means, while she is still shy and a little skittish, she can be easily won over with a treat or two! She loves to play with her brother and Rocco's confidence is definitely rubbing off on his sister. She is still learning to trust human touch but follows her foster around the apartment and likes to curl up nearby at all times. Mocha is bonded with her brother Rocco and they should be adopted together. They were born around 9/7/2020. For more pictures and videos of Mocha & Rocco, please see their Flickr album: https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjAe8TqAdoption processOnce you've filled out an application, we will contact your references and put you in touch with the foster/caregiver of the cat. Once your application is approved, we schedule you to attend an online group seminar on cat care. Then you would sign the adoption papers, pay the adoption fee, and make arrangements for the cat to be moved to your home. We always do a home visit which is both reassuring to the cat when it is being introduced and to the foster who has taken care of the cat. Presently we are doing home visits with FaceTime or Zoom to confirm you have secure windows, no toxic plants and a generally safe environment for a cat. The adoption fee is $150 for one cat under 7 years old, $75 for one cat 7 years and older. All cats have been tested for the Feline Leukemia and FIV virus, vaccinated (FVRCP and Rabies vaccines), microchipped, dewormed and spayed/neutered.
