Minka, Domestic Shorthair For Adoption In Stockton, California

Ms. Minka was thought to be a feral kitty being fed in a barn by a feline loving farmer who passed away. His care takers continued to feed and one of our volunteers who is related learned of kitty and wanted to be sure to alter before the farm sold. Well, after her tummy was shaved and her ear tipped, the vet discovered she was already spayed. We re-checked her for a chips but found none. Well we did not want to send her out into the cold with a naked belly and she had a little snotty nose so we kept her to give antibiotics and it turns out she is a sweetheart and not feral, but she is a little spicy at times. She must have been someone's kitty and ended up out in the country on her own cause she allows pets and pick ups. Minka has a silky thick black coat and loves to be massaged. She will even flop over for belly rubs. We are testing her with the other foster kitties to learn if she loves or hates other cats, so stay tuned.
