Adoption processWe require all adopters to fill out our 2 page adoption application. We then have an interview process to go over some basic questions, a 24-hour research hold, and a whole-household meet-and-greet. Many of our dogs will also require a home-visit. Our mandatory adoption donation is $100, which helps offset the cost of all vaccinations, microchip and registration, and spay/neuter that we have provided.Shelter locationLone Star Sanctuary is open to the public 6 days a week from 1-5pm, and only closed on Thursdyas. On the 2nd Saturday of every month we host an adoption event at Dillard's in the Midland Park Mall off Loop 250. On the 3rd Saturday of every month we have an adoption tent at the Midland Farmers Market. We also have periodic adoption events, so stay tuned for that information!
