Introducing Merlo, the beautiful gray and white female kitty born around October 12, 2022, making her just under 1-½ years old! Merlo has a clean bill of health, having tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV, being current on all vaccinations, spayed, and treated for fleas, worms, with a negative fecal test.Merlo may start off a bit shy, but once she warms up to you, her affectionate side shines through. She's a social kitty who thrives in the company of other feline friends. Merlo's happiness truly blossoms when she has kitty companions around, as she can get quite vocal about her desire for company. She adores cuddles, relishes treats, and delights in playtime, proving that she's still a playful youngster at heart.Please note: Merlo must be adopted into a home with other cats. She gets very lonely if she is the only kitty and is vocal about her need for feline companionship. Our kittens come with an age appropriate program (provided through certificate) for our veterinarian only. We make sure all our cats receive a health screening, tested for feline aids and feline leukemia when appropriate ages, spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated for rabies (1yr), distemper and leukemia. We also worm and flea treat all of our cats, again all as age appropriate. We also treat any cat/kitten that comes to our sanctuary for any illnesses present, or that develop while in our care. We require an appointment for adopting, as well as a verifiable veterinarian reference, which we require prior to scheduling an actual adoption visit. We contact your veterinarian reference to insure our cats/kittens are being placed in responsible, loving homes. Additionally, we require a cat carrier be brought to the adoption appointment for transport home. No laundry baskets, boxes, lap holding, is acceptable. No exceptions. We have a private shelter address other than our mailing address which is featured on this site. Many of our cats are in foster care, so appropriate appointments need to be made with proper foster families.
