Hello, I'm Meester! I'm a lovely boy staying at the Blue Mountain Humane Society looking for a place to call home. I came to the shelter with a few other cats from the same home and we're all a little shy and reserved. The BMHS staff is still learning more about me during my time at the shelter. So far they've discovered that I like my space, I'm very observant, I do well around other cats but slow introductions are still highly recommended when bringing a new cat into the home! If you're interested in meeting me, fill out an application through the Blue Mountain Humane Society website and come say hello! Adoption process1. Browse the animals online or stop by during our shelter hours.2. Get to know the animal. Play with them, take them for a quick walk, observe their behavior.3. Talk to our staff about the animal. Learn about their personality!4. Once you’ve decided to adopt, fill out an adoption application. Dogs over the age of 6 months can go on a home-trial to make sure they are your perfect match. Puppy, cat, and kitten adoptions can be finalized that day!5. Receive a lifetime of unconditional love! Animals are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Part of our mission is to place the animals in their new forever home as soon as possible, so we normally don't "hold" an animal for the Adopter.Shelter locationWe are open to the public Tuesday - Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for adoptions.
