Maya was born in a barn 6 years ago and the neighbor next door adopted her and brought her inside as a house cat, where she resided until a week ago. The caretaker at the barn noticed Maya outside the next door neighbors’ back door, waiting for it to open. Caretaker went to the home to realize the tenants had moved out and left Maya behind. We are currently working with the finder to get Maya vetted and UTD, and she tested FIV +. She is a sweet, gentle and petite floof looking for her next home that we hope will be FUREVER. Maya will be landing at the Catfe Monday, April 8 after her follow up vet appointment and needs a hooman to step up and take her home.##2012953##Adoption processThe Ferndale Cat Shelter places cats and kittens from our community into loving furever homes.
