Meet Marvin, a gentle grey and white guy with very long whiskers. We estimate Marvin’s age to be between 3-5 years old, and looking at him, you can sense that his time on the streets was less than ideal. Perhaps due to some mistrust of people, this handsome fellow can be a bit reserved at first, but he loves attention from people. With a slow approach, starting with some soft pets on the body, Marvin will quickly warm up and let you scratch his head or brush him all over. He will also let you scoop him into your arms and hold him tight against your chest. You’ll probably hear and feel him purr out of contentment. Don’t be surprised if he also considers settling into your lap! We think he’d be a great cat for a calm household who can help him feel comfortable. Marvin is a newer resident, so we are still learning about what kinds of toys he likes. He seems to be good around other friendly cats, but we do not know if he’s met dogs or children.
