Meet Mars! This playful sweet boy came to the rescue with his two sisters, though he came sick he recovered quickly with some good old TLC! One of his sisters was already adopted and now he’s wondering when his person will come! Raised with other cats, small animals, a bird, and a dog he’s been social with nearly every animal he’s met. All our cats are adopted to indoor only homes but Mars has been started training on a harness with his foster and enjoys a stroll in the grass in the yard when leashed. Overall his favorite things would have to be wet food, toys, and sleepy cuddles at bedtime. Because all of our kitties are in foster homes we do visitations with our cats with pre-approved adoption applications. We place our kittens and cats in homes with the best fit based on personality, age, and location. If approved, the animal is delivered personally and a home inspection is performed. We charge a $140 adoption fee for kittens and $110 adoption fee for adult cats, and $60 for senior cats which includes: spay/neuter, microchip, combo test and age appropriate vaccinations. Transport is also free but we do ask for a donation if over 30 miles. Future contact information of the adopter must also be given. Periodic check ins for the first year are sometimes an option.Shelter locationAdoption events are held at Petsmart in Corvallis, Oregon. Events will be posted on our website, www.keithaskittierescue.org, and our Facebook page as well as advertised through partners. All our cats can be seen via a pre-arranged "meet & greet" at anytime.
