Lily (bonded To Rose), Domestic Shorthair For Adoption In Long Beach, California

Price:
$225
Location:
Long Beach, CA
Description:

Meet Lily! She is a short-haired brown tabby with a gorgeous striped coat. She has a short tail and is very petite- she'll likely remain a tiny cat. Lily is a polydactl (extra toes!) who is sweet and docile. She is acclimated so well to home life and is grateful to be safe and secure. Lily now seeks outlets and attention from her human foster. She also gets along with other kitties. Lily is a devoted sister to Rose and gets a lot of confidence and comfort from her; they will need to be adopted together as a gorgeous little pair of flowers. They are still wary and cautious at times, but are showing that they want to be loved and show love in return. It is likely that these ladies will need a little time as they adjust to a new environment, but they definitely will. If you have the patience and calm home for a pair of young sisters that just need a second shot at a good life, then these darling ladies are for you! BACKSTORY: She was rescued along with her sister, Rose, from a citizen who put out a desperate plea on Facebook; she was being forced to either take them to a shelter or let them loose outside. She found them as tiny kittens huddled together in her driveway one rainy night, so she pulled them inside. The thought of them trying to fend for themselves again was heartbreaking, so a loving foster stepped up to help them. Both have shortened tails. NOTE: Lily and Rose were born on 7/20/23; WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN LA-BASED FOSTER HOME FOR THEM! Interested in adopting? Please visit our website at www.thecatsmeowanimalrescue.org to fill out an application. One application covers all cats and kittens staying at our Petco locations, and those in individual foster homes. Questions? Email us at XXXX@thecatsmeowanimalrescue.org or reach out on Instagram:@thecatsmeowanimalrescueAdoption processHere is our Adoption Process: 1. Submit an adoption application at www.thecatsmeowanimalrescue.org 2. If you have not yet met the cat(s) you wish to adopt, come to an adoption event or schedule a foster home visit to meet the cat(s). Please note that we cannot schedule any private foster home visits until you submit an application. 3. If your application is approved, we will contact you within a week to schedule a home visit. One of our experienced volunteers will stop by your home to ensure that you are able to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the cat. We may also provide tips for integrating the cat into your home environment. 4. We ask for a minimum tax-deductible donation* of $225.00 for each cat you adopt from us. Donations may be made online (via a secure PayPal transaction) or in-person via cash or check. If you are adopting a pair of kitties, the donation is $200.00 each ($400.00 total). *Additional donations are highly encouraged, as they enable us to rescue another cat from the shelter or the streets. Because our organization is a non-profit run entirely by volunteers, we rely solely on donations to continue rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abandoned and neglected cats. 5. We will have you sign an Adoption Agreement detailing the terms of the adoption at the time you collect your new kitty. You may view a copy of it on our website. 6. That’s it! You will communicate with the cat’s foster parents to coordinate pick-up. Please always transport your cat in a carrier for safety. 7. We will email or mail you a copy of your Adoption Agreement, a letter confirming your donation, and medical records and microchip information. This usually takes about 2 weeks. In addition to receiving individualized medical care, we provide the following services to our cats: spay/neuter, microchip, testing for FELV/FIV, flea and dewormer treatments, and vaccinations.
