This pretty girl is KitKat! She was brought to the shelter when she could no longer be housed in her home. KitKat had a rough start to her time with us and took quite a bit to settle in. She was very stressed, and had a hard time adjusting to her new environment. But with some patience, lots of treats, and a bit of time, KitKat has started to settle and show us just how wonderful she is! KitKat was described as a friendly, playful, affectionate cat in her previous home and we're seeing just how true that is! She's started to roll around asking for attention and give soft headbutts to gently ask for more petting! KitKat was also noted to be quite playful and likes to chase around little mouse toys! If you've got a bit of patience and some time on your hands, come meet KitKat and see if you can give this girl her second chance at a forever home!KitKat did not previously live with any children or other animals. But she does not seem to enjoy the other cats around her and may need to be the only cat in your home. We also suggest she goes home with older kids who can assist with her slow transition and give her space when she needs it!Adoption processWe have a simple adoption application and approval process. Our adoption fees vary by animal, but generally include neutering, age appropriate vaccinations, behavior and health assessments, and health insurance.
