Do you want a snuggly, chatty, and extremely friendly kitty? Well lucky for you, the beautiful Kensington is ready to find her forever home and her new best friends! Kensington is a sweet calico mama cat who was unfortunately surrendered to animal control by her original owners after she started having babies and lost two of her litter of four. Kensington and her remaining two babies were quickly pulled into foster care where she was finally given a peaceful place to raise her little ones. Kensie has been such a wonderful mama to her babies (Crumpet and Piccadilly) and now she is ready to join a family where she can start to be just a young kitty! Kensington is one of the chattiest cats we've ever had, often finding you and meowing for attention, pets, food, or just to talk to you. She loves all sorts of rubs and chin scratches and will let you hold her for a cuddle as well. While she is more focused on getting affection as opposed to playing with toys, she does enjoy some silvervine sticks to chew on and other catnip toys. Kensington would be thrilled to join your family! She is pretty flexible in different environments so far and can go home with her daughter, Piccadilly, or join a household with another kitty pal, or be the only cat in the house. She is easy going and sweet, so she makes fast friends! Kensington has not spent time with dogs in foster care. Her gentle demeanor would make her a great friend to humans of any age. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here: http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.
