Katniss is a tabbico that is shy but sweet, FIV positiveAdoption processOur adoption process :We usually DO NOT do same-day adoptions. There may be some exceptions. (such as, if you have adopted from us in the past and your info is on file).There is an application to adopt. If other animals are in the home, a vet reference check will be done. If you rent, a landlord pet agreement form will be required.Adoption fee is $125. (Two kittens adopted together is $200) Some animals who are with us for a longer period of time, or who are seniors may have a reduced adoption fee.This will include 4 distempers, rabies, spay or neuter, leukemia test, 2-3 wormings, and flea treatment (if needed). All adoptive homes must be INDOOR only and adopter must sign a contract NOT to de-claw.SOS reserves the right to refuse adoption to any person we feel is not in the best interest of the kitten/cat.Dog/puppy adoption fees will vary.There is a third page to our application for K9 adoptions.Shelter locationAdoption inquiries are by e-mail only. You may leave your phone number or email for a response. We are all volunteers, and have other full-time jobs, so please be patient. We WILL get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you. If you are approved for an adoption, or would like to meet a kitten/cat, an appointment will be set up. At this time, we have our available cats and kittens at various adoption events.
