For more information, please contact foster Yvonne at 256-520-XXXX. Meet KATIE... DOB est 11/1/2022, female, spayed, silver tabby, vaccinated... KATIE is a beautiful young sweetheart of a kitty who appeared at a local mobile home park this past Fall... Nobody claimed her, no owner could be found, and our Rescue was contacted to help. KATIE had a visible issue when she joined us - the person contacting us was uncertain if she was pregnant or had a tumor. An initial vet visit determined it was a hernia the size of a tennis ball that needed to be removed soon! It was so large that it affected her ability to comfortably walk/move around without physically swaying from the weight and position of it. KATIE had a successful surgery at Animal Care Clinic w/Dr. Anderson early December to remove the hernia & save her life. She has recovered wonderfully and although her hair has not fully grown back - she is absolutely ready to start her happy, healthy Future with a loving Family! KATIE does not really care for other cats and would love to be an only cat. We're unsure about dogs as we haven't seen her around them yet.
