Meet Jenga! Jenga, is an active 7 year old cat! When admiring him from afar you will just see how playful this guy really is! Jenga is an independent type of guy, who will play with his toys all day long. He goes from hiding under his blankets to popping up chasing his toys, rolling around on just having the best time! Jenga is pretty independent, however is surprisingly on the shy side when first meeting him. Yes, watch him play like a champ, but when it comes to interacting with him, you have to be patient and understanding. It takes Jenga time to warm up to people. The best way to be close with Jenga is to offer play instead of pets. Once he gets to know you, there is an opportunity for you guys to be best friends! All dogs over six months of age receive a temperament assessment by our Certified Professional Dog Trainer to ensure appropriate placement. Also, many animals in our care receive basic obedience training to improve manners and increase adoptability. We are currently doing adoptions by appointment only. Adoption Fees:Dogs6 months or under: $1756 months to 5 years: $1256 years or older (or special needs): $50 Cats6 months or under: $75 (or two kittens for $100)6 months to 5 years: $506 years or older (or special needs): $20 Senior to Senior Program: For adopters age 60 or older, adoption fees are reduced to $15 if the animal is 3 years or older. This service is made possible through the Pets for the Elderly Foundation. You will be asked to provide proof of age.
