Janice is estimated at 1 1/2 and came to us as a stray. She is good with other cats, but would prefer a home without dogs or kids. Janice is FIV+ and should go to a home with other FIV+ kitties, or be the only cat in the home.More information? Call Marion Area Humane Society at 740-389-XXXX or email at manager@mahspets.orgAdoption processThere is a application process and once approved there is an adoption contract and an adoption donation of $175 for dogs and $75 for cats. Dog adoptions include spay/neuter, one year rabies vaccination, current DHPP/DHLPP and kennel cough vaccinations, current deworming, flea and tick preventative, and if over six months old a heart worm test. Cat adoptions include spay/neuter, feline leukemia test, current FRCCP vaccinations, current deworming, and flea and ear mite preventative.Shelter locationThe Marion Area Humane Society animal shelter is open to the public M-F 1pm-6pm and Saturdays 11am-4pm.
