Jack for Adoption Solo or with Luna - 2 Beautiful Tortie Cat Girls ! Please Email XXXX@yahoo.com These pretty cat girls are older kitties in need of new homes. Their owner and his family have come into a situation where they can no longer keep them. Luna and Jack have been indoor cats since they were adopted as kittens. They get along but are not bonded and can be adopted together or separately. They will occasionally both sit together in their owners lap. Their owner is willing to pay for their first check-ups at a vet and can supply a litter box (or 2 if necessary), toys, and a ceramic drinking fountain. - Jack has a classic tortoiseshell coat and her face is blonde on one side. She is a very sweet, calm, and affectionate cat. She is very quiet and patient. Jack likes sitting on her owner’s lap and has always taken well to visitors/strangers and will often take to a visitor’s lap without delay. She is fairly independent, but happy to play and very much enjoys companionship. Jack loves to receive pets, particularly chin scratches, but has a limit and prefers to simply sit on laps without constant stimulation. Jack would be fine being the only cat or can be adopted with Luna. She is ok with children but does not interact much with them. Jack was adopted through a newspaper ad. She can sometimes be an escape artist and tries to sneak out. Her estimated birthday is 3/1/12. - Luna’s coat has lovely Tortie markings and is primarily black. She is a high energy, goofy chatterbox once she is feeling secure and her personality shows through. If her person is in the room she will want constant attention and lap time (she will also always want to be in the same room where her people are). She very much wants to be loved on and receive constant stimulation and has no problem asking for it. Luna loves to play and have fun! She is, however, skeptical of strangers and takes considerable time to warm up to them. On some occasions, she has immediately bonded with a visitor, but that is not typical. She tends to over groom herself a bit, not terribly, but her fur is just thinner on her tummy and ears, and she has done that since she was a kitten. -Luna will be a bit apprehensive about a new home at first, but once she is comfortable, she is very interactive! She seems to be more interested in children than Jack, and would probably be ok with another mellow kitty after proper acclimation and introductions. Luna was originally adopted from a Friends group with an animal shelter and her estimated birthday is 2/26/13. She is microchipped. They are both older girls but are in great health!
