Meet Genesis, the brave and resilient kitty who was found seeking shelter during the harsh polar vortex in January, along with his loyal buddy. Thanks to the kindness of a compassionate soul, they were welcomed into a warm home and eventually connected with us for assistance. Genesis may be a bit shy at first, but beneath that timid exterior lies a heart of gold. He's incredibly sweet and undeniably handsome, with a soulful gaze that speaks volumes. Despite their desperate circumstances, no one ever came forward to claim Genesis and his buddy, leaving them in need of a loving family to call their own. Genesis is searching for someone with patience and a big heart, someone who understands the value of giving undercats like him a chance to experience the love and security of a real family.Adoption processWe require potential adopters to fill out an adoption application. (It doesn't obligate you to anything.) Adoption Fees: All animals have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and the cats have been FeLuk/FIV tested and dogs heartworm tested. - $75/kittens or adopt a pair for $120.00. Adult cats are $65 and dogs $90 Our goal is to make the best possible match for the animal. We are mostly staffed with volunteers, so please, allow time for us to get back with you.Shelter locationHELP Humane is located 17122 Bel Ray Place, Belton, MO 64012, 816-318-HELP Shelter Hours are:Monday CLOSED Tuesday through Friday 1:00pm to 8:00pm. Saturday 10:00am to 6:00pm and Sunday 12:00pm to 5:00pm. On Saturday's and Sunday's we also have fostered animals available to meet.
