Meet Garfield! Garfield is the sweetest orange tabby you've ever met. He is a very calm mannered boy who really likes to just go with the flow. He would be content laying next to you all day. He would be the perfect lap cat. He is very much a little shadow and likes to follow you around the home. He has the cutest little meow and loves saying hello to everybody he meets! Like his name implies Garfield loves food! He is your typical orange boy who would love to be fed treats all day long! Garfield is a Feline Leukemia positive kitty which means he may have a shorter life span than a normal cat. Careful monitoring of his normal daily activity is also an important part of managing FeLV. Although he may require a little extra care – he will provide you with immense love during his time! Take a chance on him and you will not regret it! Garfield is in an amazing foster home that is teaching him how to be loved! He is currently fostered with the resident pup. He needs a cat savvy pup in his forever home, sometimes fast movements by the pup make him nervous. He would also do just fine on his own! Our PNW cats are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private Facebook Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $200 and includes all vetting: FVRCP vaccines (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), FeLV vaccines, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, combo tested, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a health certificate deeming the kitty healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!
