Hello, Im Emma! I am a very cute gal staying here at Blue Mountain Humane Society. I spend a lot of time making sure my gorgeous coat stays tame and soft. I enjoy the finer things in life, like finding a nice spot to lounge and nap, and begging for treats. I would do best in a quiet home where I can relax. I do well with other cats and appreciate a like-tempered friend to cuddle with. If I seem like the right girl for you, fill out an application online and come down to see me! I cant wait to meet you!Adoption process1. Browse the animals online or stop by during our shelter hours.2. Get to know the animal. Play with them, take them for a quick walk, observe their behavior.3. Talk to our staff about the animal. Learn about their personality!4. Once you’ve decided to adopt, fill out an adoption application. Dogs over the age of 6 months can go on a home-trial to make sure they are your perfect match. Puppy, cat, and kitten adoptions can be finalized that day!5. Receive a lifetime of unconditional love! Animals are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Part of our mission is to place the animals in their new forever home as soon as possible, so we normally don't "hold" an animal for the Adopter.Shelter locationWe are open to the public Tuesday - Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for adoptions. Special visiting hours are Fridays from noon-3 p.m. and Saturdays from noon-2 p.m. Our pets can also be seen online at www.bluemountainhumane.org
