How this pet arrived: Daisy was brought in by her previous owner on April 14, 2024.Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Daisy, a shy and fearful cat who's looking for a patient and understanding home. Daisy arrived at our shelter alongside her brother, Dusty #621599. Daisy has only ever lived with Dusty, so it would be preferred if they could be adopted together. Daisy is best suited for a quiet and calm household without young children. Daisy thrives in peaceful surroundings where she can feel safe and secure. She may initially be reserved and cautious, but with patience and gentle encouragement, she'll gradually come out of her shell. Rather than forced interactions, she responds well to yummy treats and engaging wand toys, which help build trust and create low-stress interactions. By allowing Daisy to approach at her own pace, you'll foster a bond based on mutual respect and understanding. It's important to note that Daisy may require some extra time to acclimate to her new surroundings. Providing her with a designated safe space, complete with appropriate hiding spots, will give her the security she needs to explore and adjust at her own pace. Despite reports from Daisy's previous owner about feline asthma, no signs of this condition have been observed while Daisy has been in our care. While she may require occasional medication injections in the future, there's currently no indication of any immediate health concerns.
