Dahlia and her sister, Sahara, came to us looking for a home. Dahlia has a cute white-tipped tail, white star on her throat and white tufts in her ears. She will be ready for adoption after July 20th. She will not be old enough to be spay then but we will provide the adopter with a voucher to have that done at our preferred vet at no cost to the adopter. Adoption fee is $75 plus a $50 spay deposit that will be returned once the adopter gets her spay.DOB 5-25-2023POSTED JULY 7, 2023Dahlia got spay today so her adoption fee is now only $60!UPDATED SEPTEMBER 27, 2023**To start the adoption process, please complete our online adoption application at our website http://www.henrycountyhumanesociety.org. You will be contacted by telephone regarding the status of your application.**Please do not submit your application from a phone as it does not always go through.** You may always reach out to ensure your application went through.Adoption processAdoption fees are senior cats (8yrs and older), cats $60, unaltered kittens $75 (plus $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit), senior dogs (8 yrs and older) $100, dogs 1 - 7 years $150, altered puppies up to a year $200 (plus $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit for unaltered puppies). All references (vet and personal) will be checked. ALL pets in your home must be current with all vaccinations and be spay/neutered. If you are approved you will be contacted by phone or email.Shelter locationWe are open every day (365 days a year) from 4pm to 6pm for you to meet and interact with our shelter animals. If that time does not work for you give us a call and we can arrange something. Finding that perfect furever home for our shelter animals is our number one priority. We will always go above and beyond for them.
