Chi Chi is a darling dark tabby who joined us with her sister, Veda, from central Illinois. She will act extroverted, initially and with her person/people- she is! In a home, she tends to be more nocturnal and will hide until she’s comfortable. She lives for snuggles and will throw herself at a chance for affection. She’s a social eater and doesn’t like to eat alone. She’s great with other cats. She can be adopted with her sister, Chi Chi, or they can be adopted separately.Veda has a bit of a weepy eye which prevents her from being able to go to Petsmart where the majority of our cat adoptions happen. She likely was exposed to a higher viral load as a kitten, leaving permanent changes to her eye. It doesn’t hurt her and we think she’s beautiful “as is.”Adoption processAdoptions can be completed at our Fort Lupton Shelter or at one of our many adoption events that are held every Saturday around the Denver metro area. See our event tab on our website for more details.Shelter locationThere are several ways you can meet our animals: 1) Come to our shelter in Fort Lupton. We are open Monday - Sunday 10am -5pm, no appointment necessary. 2) Weekend adoption events every Saturday. See our event tab on our website to see what dogs will be attending and where. 3) If the animal is in foster care, once your application is approved you will receive an email with next steps to setting up a meet & greeet.
