This friendly house panther is Chestnut! While he is technically all-black, you might see a few white or grey hairs sprinkled throughout his coat, which give him a seasoned look (pun intended). He is a delightfully outgoing guy who is likely to greet you at the door just so you know he’s ready for your attention. He will also probably follow you around, helping you with whatever is on your “to-do” list. This guy won’t meow or really make any noise, he will just be anywhere you are, ready to be pet, picked up, and lavished with affection as soon as you have a chance. He also enjoys playtime, especially if you are involved. His eyes light up at the promise of chasing a wand or fluffy toy. We have noticed that Chestnut likes having other friendly kitties around to engage in playtime. He also seems to enjoy walking alongside and sharing his space with feline companions. We do not know how he feels about dogs or children, but given his gentle demeanor, he may be OK with proper introduction. Chestnut is playing in our Willow Grove Shelter.
