Meet Charlotte. This almost 2 year old tuxedo starts off shy but loves to play and watch what you are doing. She loves her treats, her mouse toys, the laser light, and to run from one end of the house to the other, so get ready to hear the noise! She loves her pets and if you stop before she is ready, she will give you a little nudge to keep going! She also will come up to you and rub against your leg if you are not noticing her to start giving her pets. She will jump into bed with you and hang out by your feet. This girl is ready for her new home with someone who will give her the time to adjust to a new house and for her new adventure to begin! She enjoys laying in the bathroom sink and absolutely loves watching the birds out the windows. She and her sister Cookie would like to be adopted together but it is not a must. All cats and kittens adopted from Stray Cat Blues have been microchipped, spayed/neutered, are litterbox trained, have received age-appropriate vaccinations, and have been tested and found negative for FeLV and FIV - unless otherwise specifically noted. When you adopt you get a copy of our internal tracking document showing all vet work completed for the cat, which you can give to your vet as a record for the cat's ongoing care. Adoption Fees:• $130 - Kittens up to one year of age• $100 - For cats over one year and up to 7 years of age• $70 - For cats 7 years of age and over.All fees are subject to Pennsylvania's 6% sales tax and a minimum of $5 or 5% service fee.Fees for cats with special needs will be determined based upon circumstances and may result in a fee reduction. If you have any questions, please contact us.Adoption processDuring review of the application if you rent your home, we confirm with your landlord that you are allowed to have the cat per your lease. We also consider if a particular cat is a good fit for your home. Certain cats will do better in homes without small children, or without other cats. Other cats may need to be adopted with a cat that they are bonded with. So we make sure that the cat and the home are a good match before completing an adoption. Some of our fosters allow trial adoptions, where you would have 2-3 weeks to make sure that the cat being adopted was accepted by the other pets in your home. If you are interested in this, please ask your Adoption Representative. All cats adopted from Stray Cat Blues have been screened for feline leukemia and FIV, inoculated, sterilized and wormed when they first come to us. Additional vet work is completed for those cats that require additional care. Healthy, adoptable cats and kittens are then housed through our network of foster homes until they are adopted. You are also welcome to come visit cats at our PetSmart Collegeville and PetSmart North Wales/Montgomeryville locations (see times for adoption showings).
