Charlie is an adorable 2 year old male domestic shorthair cat available for adoption at AWL (since 8/14/23). Charlie is playful, friendly, and loves attention! Charlie is friendly with his kitty friends in the community cat room (main) but is super ready to find a furrrever home with a cat tree and comfy kitty bed! Come say hi!Adoption processThe first thing we require the Adopters to do is fill out one of our applications. Once they get that turned into us we call landlords, vets, and references and check to make sure their animals have all been up to date and make sure their landlords( if they have one ) are okay with them bringing home a new animal. We also call the references to make sure they are good animal owners. We will also look at whether or not you have a fenced in yard and how big your yard is ( if adopting a dog). We want to make sure we have the best fit home for the animals. All of our animals have their boosters (adult or puppy). Some are fixed and some are not. We do have a spay/neuter trailer that comes to the shelter at least once a month that spay and neuters our animals.Shelter locationIf you are interested in meeting one of our animals, call the shelter 765-362-XXXX to make sure the animal is still available for adoption.
