I'm Cedric, and I am in need of hope, and a home. Last June, my owner abandoned me, and since then I've been at the SPCA yearning for a family that truly loves me. Days have turned into weeks, weeks into months, and in all this while I haven't received a single bit of interest.It's really tough to stand out in a room full of kitties, especially when you are feeling blue like I am. And yet, there is a tiny piece of me that continues to unwaveringly believe in the miracle of love. It is this faith that keeps me going even when my dream of being adopted feels more distant than ever.If you would like to be the one to show me that dreams can come true, please, please contact the shelter to apply for me. I cannot tell you how much the gift of your warmth and forever friendship would mean to me.Cedric was rescued with his cat best friends Harry Houdini and Elvis (Harry Houdini is still available for adoption too, whether together with Cedric or separately), and gets along perfectly with everyone he shares a room with here at the shelter. He'd likely do well living with a friendly pup and can be dog-tested upon request to confirm.Adoption processOur adoption process includes reference checks, landlord approval, and an adoption contract. All dogs and cats are spayed or neutered before they leave the shelter. The adoption fee for a dog is $175.00 and puppies are $225.00, which includes the spay or neuter and all required canine immunizations, microchipping, wormer and flea treatment. The adoption fee for an Adult Cat is $75.00 which includes the spay or neuter, all required feline immunizations and testing for FeLV and FIV, microchipping, plus wormer and flea treatment. The adoption fee for Kittens is $100.00.Shelter locationOur shelter is open to the public7 Days a Week Noon-4pm
