ABOUT: Say hello to Bunny (aka Bun Bun, aka Bunnith) - she's the terrific tailless tabby! Bunny is a Manx cat, and has an adorable nub instead of a tail. She is about 10 years old, but plays with the energy of a much younger kitty! Her favorite toy is the jingle ball - she requires many of these to be available to her at all times. Bunny is needy, but in the BEST way. She loves to hang out and cuddle with her humans nearly all the time. She must sleep in the bed with you - preferred locations include at your feet or across your chest. She adores pets, and will follow you around and vocally demand them. She's chatty in general, and enjoys having conversations with her humans. Like many kitties, Bunny can get overstimulated - she will let you know when with a quick swat or nibble. Her adopters will need to learn her body language, and stop petting her when she decides she is over the the physical affection. At times, she will also throw in a seemingly random hiss - but we are not convinced that she knows what hissing means (they forgot to teach her at cat school). She'll sometimes hiss and then immediately come in for cuddles. These ridiculous antics have caused endless entertainment for her foster parents. Bunny needs to be an only-pet (she prefers to hog all of the attention) and would likely do better with experienced cat owners. She is a great little buddy, and is looking for her forever home! Everything we do is for the animals in our care, and is aimed at giving them the best possible chance of finding a permanent home. - Fill out our online Adoption Application to get the process rolling! https://www.luluslockerrescue.org/adoption-process-application - Once your Application is completed, you will have a phone conversation with an adoption counselor. - Once you’ve been approved, s/he will fill you in on the personalities, history, and behavior of the animals to allow you to make the best choice possible for your living situation. You can ask your counselor any questions you have regarding health, behavior, and long-term care. - You and all members of your household will then be invited to visit the foster home or boarding facility where the animal is currently living. If you decide adoption is right for you, you will be asked to sign an adoption contract and pay an adoption fee which covers the spay/neuter, wellness exam, vaccinations, microchip, and heartworm test (dogs only). - Animals are subject to a home visit prior to completion of the adoption process. - You will ALWAYS have continued support from Lulu’s Locker after your adoption!
