Biscuit and her brother Samuel were left locked in a laundry room for months when the owner was unable to take them with her. They have severe obesity but are already on the way to losing weight. They are both playful and cuddly. Biscuit is very outgoing and playful and sweet. She had a past hematoma so her ear is misshapen will need cleaning maintenance. So far, they have been in a foster home alone so unsure how they are with kids or dogs. They did see other cats once and didn't seem to put out so it could potentially work. They would need someone who could maintain a healthy diet and feeding schedule and keep them active.Adoption processCall (352) 284-XXXX if you are interested in adopting one of our cats. Initially, we interview you to see if you are a good fit for one of our animals and, if you are, we arrange for you to meet them. After, you will fill out an application with an adoption fee that is typically $50 - $90; this covers the animal's spay/neuter, combo test, and all it's first-year shots plus it's microchip. All our animals get flea and worm treatments as well. If they are very young when adopted and still need any shots we complete them for you after the adoption at no additional cost to you. Please note that we may request a home visit at some point to see how animals are adjusting to their new environments after you bring them home.
