Meet Ava! She is a very curious and out going kitty! Super playful and wants to be the winner of any and all challenges, first to the treats, first to the toys, first to snuggle. In other words, she'll race you! :) She's the type of kitty that if you threw a toy off a cliff, she'd go right over with it! Ava can be aloof at times, meaning she'll run when you try to pet her. Thats her way of letting you know that she doesn't want her energy to be contained at that moment. For this reason, I feel she would do better with older kids, who can "read and understand" her and know when to let her be. But when she decides she's ready to snuggle, she'll come and curl right up in your arms. You also have to be open to a few circles on your chest and some cat butt haha, until she finds just the right area, then she will flop down and curl up for some loving. These pictures were taken by my granddaughter who was over playing cards with me. Ava just jumped up on her lap and settled in, it was super adorable. Ava is a brave kitty with a little bit of sas. She would prefer to be the only kitty you share your love with, but she seems to adore dogs. If your work schedule means she'll be alone for 8 hours a day, she'd need to have a companion dog to help her pass the time, otherwise she'll be bored out of her mind alone :) Let's hope there's a perfect home out there for her!If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ava, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
