This pretty, petite dilute Tortie cat -- August -- came to Misty Eyes when she and her kittens were found as strays. She has been a good mama, although it could have cost her life. When she didn't seem to be doing well, it was found that two kittens had not been delivered and were still in her womb. Surgery resolved that problem, and she began to perk up and feel much better. She's now looking for a home of her own and hopes that someone will submit an adoption application online at https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.Adoption process$200 adoption fee for adult dogs; $225 adoption fee for puppies; $150 adoption fee for senior/special needs dogs. Cats are $100.00 for kittens and $65.00 for adults. All pets are current on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped. Application process.Shelter locationWe have an adoption Center at 616 S. County Road 800E (Dan Jones Road), Avon, In 46123All animals live in foster homes, and we have some of our animals on site on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-1pm
