Amelia Noel was found in the middle of the Blizzard conditions we experienced right before Christmas, at the Wilmington Airport - hence her name Amelia (Earhart) Noel (Christmas). Thankfully a former adopter who works at the airport spotted her and reached out to us for help. She suffered some frostbite on her paws and ears from being out in the awful conditions, but thankfully the damage was minimal. We believe Amelia was a dumped pet - she had already been spayed but it was quite some time ago, and she is clearly not feral. She had no chip and no one claimed her when posted on local missing pet sites. Amelia Noel is a quiet soul who responds to pets with loud purrs. She enjoys a good belly rub, and LOVES a good box to snuggle up in. She is an adult, we are guessing around 3-4 as of January 2023. She would thrive in a laid back home where there is someone home more often than not to give her attention.
