My name is Amber and I'm desperately searching for a new home. I was originally found in a box at the end of a driveway. I had suffered some abuse to where only 4" of my tail was left. I'm a bit of a loaner and just need a place to land that doesn't have too many expectations of me. Just allow me to relax and settle in and even though I love affection it is for sure on my terms. A quiet environment would be best for me. Maybe a senior that is just looking for some company would work just perfectly for me. I'm not a dog kind of gal so a home with canines isn't my speed. I have been in rescue for a long time and no one has shown any interest in me. I am estimated to be about 14 years old. I know, your reaction will be one of sadness and you'll think oh wow, she probably won't find a home but I'm hopeful there is some wonderful hooman out there that will give me a chance at spending my remaining years in a home setting where I can just be me. My adoption fee is $50 and I am spayed and fully vetted. Perhaps you might give me a chance. An application and home visit is required for placement approval. This is the first step in our adoption process.Serious potenial adopters are welcomed, even if they have not completed an adoption application, to schedule a visit with one of our adoptable pets. We strive to match the adoptable pet and adopter. Upon approval, the adoption fee and contract is signed.
